“It’s not what happens to you; it’s what you do with what happens to you that will set you free and onto the path of personal empowerment and liberation.”
Mary-Jo Fetterly - Jan 24, 2004 - the day before everything changed.🪽
In 2004 MJ - a single mom of 2 daughters - was in a devastating ski accident in Nelson, BC, that left her paralyzed from the neck down at just 47 years old.
MJ truly exemplifies and embodies what deep wellness and healing is all about. Her memoir documents her unconventional approach to life and paralysis - reminding us how we can cultivate resilience, tap into the depth of our potential and take responsibility for our experience in this lifetime.
Her memoir “Where Science Meets Spirit - The Autobiography of A Paralyzed Yogi’ is a must read - whether you are on a healing journey, a practitioner or student of human potential.
MJ is an author, a Yoga Teacher - Therapist and Health and Spiritual Mindfulness Coach. She loves to sail, garden, kayak and spend quality time with her amazing daughters, friends and family.
I’m one of her biggest fans 😉
